To celebrate the 25th Black Fly Challenge the purse has been raised 25%! Total cash and prizes are now over $17,000.00. See the Prizes page for the complete breakdown.
After some discussion and debate BFC organizers have decided to try an earlier start time with the aim of reducing the results time-crunch at the finish line. The new start time will be moved up a half-hour to 10:00 a.m.
The entire morning schedule will also move up a half-hour, including registration, shuttles and official instructions. Make sure to check the Event Schedule page before the race!
The five-hour timing window will now end at 3 p.m. and we may also move the awards up as well, but we’ll let you know.
The current entry fee is still $50.00. Junior entry fees will remain at $50.00 through race day but all other categories will go up $10.00 on May 2nd and another $15.00 for Friday pre-race & Saturday race day registration.
Cat 1 & 2 will go up to $60.00 on May 2nd and $75.00 for pre-race and race day registration. Tandems are currently $90.00. They will go up to $100.00 on May 2nd and $115.00 for pre-race & race day registration.
Register by May Day (May 1st) and save yourself some money!
Online registration ends Wednesday June 10 at 11:59 p.m. Pre-race registration is, as usual, at Pedals & Petals the Friday before the race.
